Since 1980, John D. Kallen engaged exclusively in admiralty, transportation and insurance litigation. Extensive trial and appellate experience in hull and P&I defense involving private pleasure yachts, passenger excursion vessels, fish boats and commercial vessels, Jones Act, LHWCA and general maritime personal injury claims, marina and shipyard claims, salvage claims, first party and third party insurance claims on hull, P&I, yacht, cargo, inland marine, boat dealers, marina operators legal liability and MGL policies, yacht and cargo subrogation claims.

The office is located between Miami-Dade and Broward Counties although litigation matters are frequently handled in all areas of Florida, from Fernandina Beach/Jacksonville south to Key West, and from Pensacola south to Naples.
